WHO IS ART WOODSTONE?
Art Woodstone Studio is an art studio combining the talent and vision of four different artists. These artists are separated by medium, vision, education, and culture. However they are brought together by their common vision to create beautiful, original visual art, both functional and non-functional. AWS artists achieve this by combining their talent, experience, and need to create. Art Woodstone Studio artists produce art varying from 2D paintings, collages, and glass etchings to textile works, 3D sculptures in a variety of mediums, and fine furniture.
Art Woodstone Studio's mission is to produce artwork individually and together. Individually each artist's work is to be expressed according to the will of that artist and his or her vision. The artists bring together their individual abilities in order to create interiors, installations, and commissions for the private and commercial buyer as well as interior designers. The success of this combination of talent is what drives AWS forward. The willingness to share, learn and experiment with one another is the special bond that AWS offers to each individual artist and to the client.
Art Woodstone Studio holds an open door policy to the public and other artists. Everybody is welcome in the studio to view our recent work, to talk with the artists, work with the artists, and discuss personal and business opportunities. AWS hopes you will take the opportunity to come by and meet all of us.
COMMISSIONS
Art Woodstone Studio accepts commissions for original pieces in a wide range of mediums. Whether your specific need is a built in, bar, an oil painting, modern or classical 3 dimensional sculpture, any kind of ornamentation in wood and stone (including hand cut letters), a refinished antique table, or an etched glass panel for a restaurant, our artists have the skill, talent, and knowledge to meet your needs.
Art Woodstone Studio will take the time to listen and work with you down to every detail. AWS produces commissions for the private home, interior designers, and larger commercial spaces. We can meet any need in any medium to suit the specific requirements for each commission.
AWS offers 3 dimensional computer renderings for its interior design and furniture commissions. This service allows us to work out all of the details necessary to provide our customers with exactly what they have in mind. It also allows the AWS artist to suggest artistic expressions and individual details to make each piece and interior a truly individual and unique work of art.

FURNITURE
The fine-furniture aspect of Art Woodstone Studio is born from the experience that the Osman brothers have gained through their years of custom furniture design, furniture restoration, and refinishing. Combined with the incredible 3D sculptural abilities of George Tkabladze, and the keen design sense of Tea Okropiridze, the furniture takes on unique style and adds to the artistic angle AWS gives to each piece of furniture or room installation. The knowledge of different joinery, designs, finishes, and combination of different medias, such as stone and glass, help play an important role in the development of a new artistic language and function of fine furniture. Working in all types of solid hard woods, the artists at AWS take great time and pride in selecting and using only the most beautiful solid woods they can find. Their goal is to design and build original pieces of furniture and interiors that last, and serve the purpose of both functional furniture and unique pieces of art.
